Alert List (scrollable window)
Shows the list of Alert that are defined
Touch the alert name to edit the alert
Press the "ADD" buttton to add a new alert
Long Press an alert to toggle the alert "Enable\Disable" status
Add Alert and Edit Alert (scrollable windows)
Fields
Name
Enter the name you want to call the alert
Mobile
The mobile number (or part of) use to compare with sending number
Use the whole mobile number or a significant portion of the number
You can leave out the international dialing codes, etc
For example in Australian mobiles use the international code is +614 or 04 for a local mobile number
In this example do not enter the 61 or the 0 on the beginning of the number.
To select the mobile from your contact list (Contact Lookup) just long press the "Mobile" label (to the left of the mobile edit box).
Message
The text to compare with in the received SMS message
Logic (and\or\not) is available by separating phrases with .and. .or. .not. plus grouping with .(. and .).
Multiple groups are allowed but NOT nested groups.
e.g. "OK .and. .(. george .or. fred .). .not. .(. Thanks .or. Bye .)."
Compare
Select one of the following types
Begins - The SMS begins with the alert message text
Contains - The SMS contains the alert message text
Ends with - The SMS ends with the alert message text
Equals - The SMS equals the alert message text
Type
Select one of the following types
Alarm - plays the selected sound until the notification is cancelled
Vibrate - vibrates the phone until the notification is cancelled
Flash - Flash the screen until the notification is cancelled
Locate - Returns a SMS with your current location (link to Google Maps)
All - Alarm, vibrate and flash
Ignore - Ignore the SMS and exit alert checking - Don't check any more rules
Sound
Pick the sound to play whrn the alarm triggers
Interupt Silence
The alarm won't override your phone silent status (if your phone's on silent, your screen will flash)
Interupt Call
The alarm will briefly vibrate every 10 seconds until your call finishes then the alarm will trigger
Day Selector
Select which dasy the alarm will be valid
Start Time and End Time
Defines a time period that that alarm will be valid
Leave both fields blank to allow the alram at any time
OK Button
Saves the alert
Press and Hold the Add button to test the alert (will send a notification and play the alert sound)
Backup and Restore Alerts
Backup your alerts to external\internal storage when changing phones (or upgrading to Auto Alert SMS Pro)
Restore your previously backed up alerts from external\internal storage
Test Alerts
Test mobile numbers and message text against the list of alerts without send a SMS.
